ALS Training is a private family run business established in 1985 ,the principle has been in business for
over 35 years.
For the first few years we concentrated on providing Food Safety Training to client firms throughout the
County of Kent. However it soon became apparent that our clients wanted us to provide training in many
other subjects, so we set out to fulfil this demand where possible. Then around 1997 we started getting
enquiries from prospects further afield. At first we had to turn down their requests since for us to travel
outside the county would not have been cost effective. This prompted us to seek out ways of providing our
courses in some form of distance learning mode.
We started compiling our courses onto CD-ROM s. For a few years this seemed to be the answer and we
gained hundreds of new client companies as a result. However as with most aspects of the business,
things do change and we found that both ONLINE and CD-ROM based training suffered from two particular
disadvantages. Today neither method is accepted by the Certificate issuing bodies because (1) The
person taking the course cannot be clearly identified and (2) Candidates taking their examinations at a
distance cannot be properly invigilated. Our answer to these objections can be overcome if we have
franchisees throughout UK and eventually Europe.
During the following few years we continued to build our library of Training materials and widened the
subject range to the point where we can provide Training in hundreds of subjects and thousands of
different courses, all of which are chosen to help small to medium firms become more efficient and
profitable. This proved to be a very good move since it enabled us to expand our client base into many
other areas of business, as well as selling more to our existing clients.
During the years 2009/11 we spent some considerable time and effort in developing our Franchise
package in that we were able to test every aspect of the proposed operation.
• We have developed and tested unique ways of obtaining new leads.
• We have developed and tested new ways of signing up new clients
• We have developed and tested ways of retaining clients on an ongoing basis
• We have developed and tested ways of Delivering our Training Courses
• We have developed and tested ways of using technology to help run our business
And we know for certain that given an average person with the will to work and learn, they can comfortably
achieve similar success
You do not need any special skills to succeed in this business other 'than the will to do so,' we can provide
all the necessary training even if you are a complete beginner and never worked for yourself before.
Strange as it may sound, you do not need to have any Teaching or Training skills since with our unique
system all that is done for you by some of the worlds leading experts in their respective fields.
The model we have set up and are offering as a franchise is capable of producing a six figure income.
